and on their own. With only what they can carry on their backs they are
required to carry out their mission and protect themselves from attack.
They camp on the top of a ridge with good visibility. However, fog
moves in and they can only see a 100 yards away even during the
daylight.
Solution: The Special Operations unit is carrying the less than 5
pound SpotterRF radar with its battery pack and tripod that altogether
weighs less than 20 pounds. Within minutes they setup the SpotterRF and can see
on their tablet PC anything that moves around them. When a track
appears coming towards them from any angle, they are ready well in
advance.
